Our international team brings a wide range of diving, boating, teaching and life experience to every adventure.

Our boat crews are trained in emergency procedures, first aid and oxygen provision, and our instructors work with multiple internationally recognized training agencies.

We believe your crew should also be welcoming, patient, knowledgeable and fun. Whether you’ve logged hundreds of dives or you’re feeling a little nervous about your first one, we want you to feel comfortable from the moment you step aboard.

Our custom-designed boats are built with your day in the BVI in mind.

Enjoy shaded seating, freshwater showers, camera rinse bins, marine heads and changing areas, with plenty of room to relax between adventures.

Our vessels are licensed and inspected annually by the BVI Shipping Registry, and our crew works hard to make every trip comfortable, organized and memorable.

Staying aboard a sailboat, catamaran or yacht? No problem. Our Rendezvous Diving service can arrange to meet you at a convenient location so you can spend less time getting to us—and more time underwater.

More Than a Dive Shop

Dive BVI has been part of the story of diving in the British Virgin Islands for more than five decades.

Over the years, we’ve introduced thousands of people to the underwater world, shared the BVI with visitors from around the globe and worked with productions from the BBC, Travel Channel, Food Network and Fox.

Our roots even stretch into BVI film history: Dive BVI’s founder was on site during the filming of The Deep at Salt Island.

A lot has changed since 1975.

Our love for these islands hasn’t.

Neither has the feeling we get when we introduce someone to a favorite reef, help a nervous first-time diver discover that they can do it, or watch a family climb back aboard after an incredible day together.

“If you are seeking an excellent dive operation, look no further than Dive BVI”

I have been diving for 37 years and I taught scuba (PADI) for 4 years. I say this only to highlight that I have been diving with a lot of operations and Dive BVI is clearly a very, very good provider. I was joined by my two adult sons and the mother & father-in-law of one of my son’s. Dive BVI puts a high focus on safety both in the boat and underwater. We went diving with them over two days, one of the days was the wreck of the RMS Rhone. Chrissy, Bart and Steve were our divemaster/instructor crew. All of their dive briefings were very informative and entertaining — they were all so nice. The ScubaPro Equipment was all in good shape and working order. Tank fills were all full. We met the boat both in Spanish Town and Scrub Island from our catamaran charter, both shops were well stocked and the staff was extremely friendly. Don’t forget to tip your crew if they did a good job 😃, it may look like a lot of fun but it is a lot of work and a lot of responsibility. To the crew and Dive BVI, thank you, we had a wonderful time with you all.
